Upgrade your card from V2 to V3.
V3 is the current character card spec: it adds an assets array, group greetings, multilingual creator notes, and turns the lorebook into a first-class object with decorators. Upgrading from V2 is lossless — every V2 field has a V3 home — but doing it by hand invites shape mistakes in the lorebook. This converter does the upgrade mechanically and shows you each field it mapped or initialized.

Importing to a hub (RisuRealm / Chub)? .charx or V2 PNG are accepted most widely. A bare V3 JSON has no embedded avatar, so some hubs reject it.

Questions
- Is V2 to V3 really lossless?
- Upward, yes — V3 is a superset. It's the downgrade (V3 → V2) that drops fields: assets, character_book decorators, group greetings and multilingual notes, all of which this converter enumerates before you download.
- Do I need to upgrade at all?
- If your card works and you don't need V3 features, no. Upgrade when you want assets, group greetings, or you're targeting a V3-native client like RisuAI.
