Take your SillyTavern card to RisuAI.
Your SillyTavern characters live as card.png files with the data embedded in PNG metadata. RisuAI reads PNGs, but its native container is .charx — V3 JSON plus assets in one ZIP. This converter extracts the card from your PNG, upgrades it to V3 if needed, and repacks it as .charx with the avatar as the icon asset.

Importing to a hub (RisuRealm / Chub)? .charx or V2 PNG are accepted most widely. A bare V3 JSON has no embedded avatar, so some hubs reject it.

Locate the card in SillyTavern
Your characters folder holds one PNG per card; or use Export Character from the UI.
Drop the PNG below
.charx is preselected. V1 and V2 cards are upgraded to V3 along the way — losslessly.
Import into RisuAI
Use the character import in Risu; the card arrives with its avatar and lorebook intact.
Questions
- Will RisuAI-specific features appear after conversion?
- The conversion gives Risu a clean V3 card to build on. Risu-only features (Regex Scripts, modules) are configured inside Risu — they were never in the SillyTavern card to begin with.
- Can I go back later?
- Yes — the reverse route converts .charx back to a SillyTavern-ready V3 PNG. Round trips preserve the card data; only container-level extras beyond the icon are reported if dropped.
